What is an iPod

iPod Touch
The BIG daddy of iPods with bigger widesreen display and 3 storage sizes. Retials at: 8 GB- $229; 16GB – $299; 32GB – $399.

MP3 Technology for iPods
iPods hold music primarily in the format of what is called an MP3. MP3’s are digital music files that are downloaded from the internet or downloaded on a computer from a CD and converted to an mp3. Several music services exist that provide access to millions of songs and albums for download, including many oldies but goodies, one of the most popular of such services is Napster. With the iPod also comes Apple iTunes service, that is Apple’s music download service for access to songs for the iPod brand MP3 player.
