The games market is huge there is no doubt about that and year on year it is on the rise so look out CD and DVD sales. Back in the old days game sound was just thrown for the sake of it, of course now it would seem that a very long time indeed is spent developing the soundtrack for a major game. Why on earth is this happening?

Would films such as Star Wars, Jaws, Avatar be so great without the music in them, I highly doubt it?
